Dunes Observatory.
Glenns Ferry
This famous river crossing on the Oregon Trail is less than 30 miles outside town. Before the ferry was built in 1869, pioneers used three
islands in the middle of Snake River to cross and continue on their journey. Today, this area boasts campsites, excellent fishing, and
living history demonstrations throughout summer.
